Nanas was tossed out of his tree at a very young age. He traveled the globe looking for a home when he suddenly met his human companions on MoJeepin.com.
He instantly became the MoJeepin Mascot and he insists that Jeepin, not swinging from tree to tree is the only way to go.
Nanas still travels the globe looking for new adventures and from time to time, he stops in and posts his Talez and Travelz!
PEPBOYS
Ok so I got to go to PEPBOYS! Now you might not this this is that exciting but let me tell you... it was great. They have a lot of fun car stuff there, stuff for Jeeps even! They should totally get more Jeep hats though! While there I got to see my great buddy Todd, he likes to go by TJODD on the MoJeepin website. Here we are checking out some great stuff on the computer. Yeah thats right we needed some pricing on new Jeep stuff. Not that Todd doesn't know almost all of it without using the computer, I think he was just showing it off to me for real! Whats nice about PEPBOYS is that they have fun people who work there. Jon works there too! He's on the boards as Shamoo. Its a funny story about why he's called that, you should ask him about it. He's got a fun picture of a whale on his arm. Wonder if anyone will got a Nanas tattoo someday? Humm... Labels: Jeep, Nanas, PEPBOYS, tattoo
I'm on the Web!
Ok excuse time. My moms are moving and won't let me get on the computer. I have so much to tell but can't just yet. I think things are slowing down for them and I hope to get on real soon and post some pix. Here's a great website to see me and some of the Meet & Greet pix at: http://1047thecave.com/skin/blurb.php?sectionId=194&contentId=610485 If you go there I'm sitting on a really old Jeep it was way cool. I was excited to get some get shots of me on almost everyone Jeep at the Heritage Meet 7 Greet. We had a great time. If you look at the pics above you can see there was a great turn out. We had hamburgers and hot dogs, and lots of Gatorade I had about 4 bottles of the grape and loved it! It was hot and you'd be surprised how much a sock monkey can sweat! I must say I was a bit soggy after 4 bottles though. LOL It was hot but I tell you that didn't stop all the great MoJeepin people from stopping by. I also have some pics of me at Basspro with the Moos, and me camping and having to patch Steph up, and a whole bunch more pix. So be sure and come back real so cause I've got a lot to tell. As promised two more pics while at KTTS
Andy got goofy and made rabbit ears behide my head. So I had to get Andy back so I mooned him! I have found not wearing pants helps you get a good mooning off real quick! HaHa Julie laughed out loud and so did Auntie Olena and Miss Bambi. I love crackn' people up. I had a blast at KTTS and Andy said to come back and see him and Julie again sometime. I can't wait to see him again, this time I'm going to run the show. GO ANDY and JULIE! Labels: Jeep, KTTS, KTTS radio station, Nanas, radio, radio station, Stan the Man
My time in Ohio
I LOVED my time in Ohio. I got to do some pretty cool stuff. When I got there can you believe that I had my very own Jeep. I can't think of anything better right now. I was very sad to leave it with Randy and Linda but it just cost to much to send a car by airplane back to MO, plus with gas prices these days who can afford to drive? We went on a trail ride which was great fun. I must say it was very wet! My fine friends kept me inside though and very dry. I got several pics of the fun we had. Let me share... Here's my new pals Tom and Mary! I had a lot of fun on this trip. The hills were steep and the water was everywhere. I really liked running in the creek bed. I got to stick around a little longer in Ohio and let me tell you I was so glad I did. I got to meet Girl Scouts! I loved them, such fine girls all of them. They were so nice and even signed papers for me to take home. The only thing that would have made it better is if they'd had Girl Scout cookies! I really like the Thin Mints but too many and I'd get a monkey pot belly. My moms at home put them in the freezer so it's "harder for me to get them". I have them fooled though, I can open that freezer just fine Thank YOU! Thanks again wonder Girl Scouts you're so much fun. Ok so while the Girl Scouts were a huge highlight of the day we some more fun too. We got to see some new Jeeps the local dealer brought out, sorry the pic is blurry but... while riding on Brownrc's shoulder he moved just when I went to take the pic. Here's some more pics I got while there of some Toyotas I really liked this lime green Jeep, I know JeepDude likes them too so I took a pic for him Here's some more fellows playing around Thanks again goes out to Browrc and crew for hosting my stay there in Ohio. I am back home now in Springfield MO, getting ready for a camping trip so watch for those adventures real soon. More about my trip with Diablo
Well no surprise I've been pretty busy but I've got more pics to post. I wanted to say while I met Diablo I also met another fine Diablo while there. We went a little crazy but and I'm kinda shy to admit we took the Jeep out for a ride. It worked pretty well. I drove and little Diablo worked the petals. We didn't go too far! Swear :-) I got to check out the way cool Commander while there too. Boy Diablo has a lot of Jeeps! Here's a few pics. I must say I did love the sunroof. I could hang out there all day. Ok so the next one is a little embarrassing because I've got no pants. (I'm going to talk to my moms about this when I get home!) But I'll post it for all you MoJeepin fans anyway. This is me just goofing around! Some people would say monkeying around but I think that's a bit over used! I hung out in the XK with D. I hopped up in the window to see what all a money could see. I just sat and chilled watching the traffic go by. Hahaha I tried to drive again! Darn foiled this time :-| Ok so we get back and I'm put to manual monkey labor! I was a guest for goodness sake! Ok really I'm not mad I like doing Jeep stuff and D's a lot of fun. She kept telling me jokes while we were out there. She didn't make me do too much work. I will say as a reward she let me take some poses one her Jeeps. Boy I could fill a calendar! We also went to get our hair done! I had a great time. My hair was a little stringy so I needed to be fixed up. No ones wants a dirty monkey! This one is me and D's Mom getting ready to go in, check out that sexy Commander in the back ground! Its just like me to be ever so helpful. Here's where I'm telling him it's just like washing the Jeep! I waited with Mom for my turn! She's looking really nice. Here I go for my wash! I'm was excited they had a special monkey hair wash set up just for me. I tell you with D and her Mom I got 5 star treatment! While everyone got finished up I could resist a climb! Wow I'm tired and must go rest up a bit. I have a few more pictures to share from my stay with Diablo but we'll get to that soon enough! I can't wait fore more talez to tell. My Visit To New Jersey
Wow got some stuff to tell. I'm here in OH now but I wanted to recap my stay with Diablo in NJ. I got to D's (New Jersey) andshe took forever to take me outta my box. Then I met her Rubi and her dog who tried to eat me! I mean just look he's trying to slurp me Gaaah!
I'm just hanging out on the new Rubi. My legs were a bit tired from being cramped in that box all that time. Cheap Monkey transit isn't what it's cracked up to be. We soon went to Taco Bell which had great food. I like a variety, lots of humans think all I'd want is bananas and that's just so wrong. Not to worry she hooked me up! Thats only my first day there. I am going to be back soon to tell you of my other talez soon :-) Labels: Diablo, Jeep, Monkey Transit, Nanas, Talez, Travelz
I just got to a computer!
Wow I've been having so much fun with my new pal Diablo here in New Jersey! She's a blast. I just got to a computer and wanted to just say HI and that I'm alright. We've been havening a good time washing her new orange Rubicon. I have to say it's pretty hot! I like to drive it. Yeah you heard me right, she let me drive. Still don't believe me? Well I have a picture to prove it. Little Diablo had to work the gas and breaks as my sock legs just weren't long enough. We'll I'm having just too much fun so I'm out! My Trip To Arizona
We left on March 12 on our way to Kingman, AZ. Got through airport security just fine, except Auntie O was not prepared for this trip she forgot to put her small items in a plastic bag. OOPPPS so she was stopped by security to tell her to put them in a bag. I got through security just fine, if a cute sock monkey gal had been around I'd not minded a special search but there were only humans so I let it be.We boarded the plane @ 7:50PM on our way to Las Vegas, the airline put us in the 3 seater just so I could have my own seat in the middle. I wanted the window but was told NO. Humph!
Then we were on our way, I was scared at first on the take off, but I soon relaxed and was good to go. Uncle Jon let let me watch "Resue Me" on his DVD player. I'm proud that my Uncle Jon is a fireman, considering what I'm made of it's good to have him close by.
I loved the weather in Kingman, it was 89* the first day, so we decided to take a dog to the Doggie Park for some running and playing. I got really scared cause there were some really BIG dogs, so I climbed up on the pole and watched all of them from there.
The next day we decided to go geocaching with Bambi (Jon and Olena's daughter) we went to (Spreading the Love #4 cache) me and Bambi was checking the coordinates before we started. We looked and looked, Finally Uncle Jon found it and then Bambi found it, and I had found it long before them but let them look anyhow.

After that we went back to the hotel to shower and get ready to go out for dinner, I saw a yellow in front of the Hotel we stayed at (Haunted Hotel) that looked like my parents Jeep, I got all excited but Unlimited Rubicon.
The next morning Bambi came over to say her goodbyes to Nana's and Mom and Dad, we were all just a bit hung over from the previous night of partying at the "Nashville Grill". I jumped into Bambi's arms to say goodbye to her. I really liked Miss Bambi since she was a Preschool Teacher. Here she's telling me she likes monkeys more than kids, that made me giggle.
We stopped off at the Hoover Dam, I really liked all the water, places to could climb, and lots of towers and rocks for to play on. I did stay close to auntie Oleana as I didn't want to fall in though.
We dropped the car off at the rental counter and we got our bags all checked in and was proceeding to the next security check point. We were running behind because we got caught up in the noon traffic in Vegas, and were worried if we would make our flight. There were 100's of people in front of us for the check point ... then we were directed by security to go to a "different" line. There we were checked through right away! Uncle Jon wondered why did we get to go through this line when everyone else was in the other lines? Then it hit him, he saw Nana's in Auntie O's arms and looked at the line that they directed us to go through and it was the "HANDICAPPED LINE". They must have thought Auntie O was " A special person" because she was holding a sock monkey tightly. I always knew my Auntie O was "SPECIAL" now i know it is true. Thank goodness for her being "Special" we got the next security point just in time.
Finally got through all the security to the slot machines to gamble a little, I thought maybe I could win the Moms some money to fix their Jeep up some more. I broke even on the slots with Uncle Jon. I included a pic of where I made a good play and got 3 Jacks! I'll try harder next time. I was so tired from all the excitement in Vegas and Arizona that I slept all the way home back to Missouri, once there I got a nice spot on the couch.
