Meguiar's Next Generation Tech Wax
Manufactured by Meguiar's, Inc.
- Product Specs: Unique engineered synthetic polymer formula. Ultimate deep gloss and protection. Clear coat safe.
- Pros: Super easy to apply and take off.
- Cons: Doesn't seem to make much of a difference on a lighter colored car (ie. silver or white).
- How it works: Wipe on entire car, allow to dry to haze, wipe off.
I picked this product up the other day from the local Auto Zone in order to wax my Jeep® Cherokee. It will set you back about $16, but I'd advise you to go with the cheaper version of it that retails for about $6 - $10.
Application of this wax is very easy. They supply you with an applicator sponge, but if you plan to do the entire vehicle make sure and buy extras or you will regret it. You put it on the sponge and wipe down the entire car (don't worry about getting it on windows or trim). Once it dries to a haze, you simply wipe it off. You don't need to be "Popeye" either to get it off, but you do need to apply slight pressure. If you get it on trim, it wipes off of that just as easily as it wipes off of the body.

It brought a nice shine to the Jeep, but nothing terribly noticeable. If you want a decent wax that will remove more foreign particles from your vehicle after washing it, I would recommend this wax even though it's a bit pricy. I'm sure the cheaper version of it would do just fine though. I think it would actually do better on a much darker car (ie. red, blue, black, dark green, etc), but I would not recommend this for lighter colored cars by any means.
Just realize one thing though....DO NOT look for the show car finish this wax promises.
