About the Tuner:

If you live in the city or just any area where theft is a problem, then this is the way to go as far as satellite radio is concerned. I got a professional install on mine, and they placed it behind my head unit. Other installs are usually placed under a seat or in the trunk. It comes with everything you need and is plug and play. The antenna can be placed on the roof of your vehicle or on the trunk if you have a car. This is one of those things where I stress a professional install, unless you are going to tear away your window molding yourself to hide the antenna wires. If you're not concerned about a clean install, then do it yourself. Any who, this product is great. It’s hidden, and you'd never know it was there if you didn't have proof of it yourself. The radio signal is strong 98% of the time even in the woods! I pay month to month currently, but I'd suggest doing a lifetime payment if you can afford it. Once you get Sirius satellite radio, you'll be hooked. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have it. Also, if you have XM come on over to Sirius! We've got Howard Stern and NFL! If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM or an e-mail.

Note: If you don't want to buy a new head unit, I suggest trying out the Sirius Starbase Satellite Radio Receiver, $149.99. It has most everything you need: Faceplate, tuner, antenna, and remote control.
